Aluminium Coil for Ceilings
Aluminum Roof Coil
The metal and aluminium coils in Litong products are made from the highest quality materials. We require our suppliers to adhere to the strictest standards and use a rigorous qualification process when selecting new sources.
All of our metal roofing coils and sheets are produced from recycled materials, with at least 25% of the raw material coming from post-consumer or post-industrial waste. With our world class paint lines, we maintain fully integrated manufacturing capabilities to ensure the highest level of quality control.
Stock strengths of various forms of aluminium range from specification 1100-0, which has a yield strength of approximately 5,000 psi, to specification 7075-T6, which has a yield strength of approximately 70,000 psi. (per square inch).
The following are some typical applications within these specification ranges -
Utility sheet for all general sheet metal work such as flashings, ductwork, lined walls, etc.
1100-0 mainly for spinning and drawing operations, e.g. utensils, decorative items, etc.
1100-H14 and 3003-H14 are specification alloys for general forming operations.
The physical properties of 5005-H14 are similar to those of 3003-H14 with excellent corrosion resistance and a uniform smooth surface finish suitable for anodising. This alloy is suitable for use in curtain walling, decorative trim, control panel boxes and signage.
5052-H32 and H34 are high strength alloys with good forming qualities, particularly suitable for marine applications.
5083-H321 and H323 is an alloy in various states that produces high weld joint efficiency. It is used for tank work, heavy transport, etc. to make the most of its welding properties.
5454-H32 is a sister alloy to 5083 and has a low stress corrosion rating when working in the 150°F to 300°F range. Typical applications are truck dump bodies, tanker trucks, exhaust pipes, chemical handling tanks on ships, etc.
6061-T6 is an excellent general purpose alloy with high strength and good corrosion resistance. It is used in all structural applications such as mining trucks, logging chutes and shipbuilding.
Painted aluminium: 1100, 3003, 3105, 5005 and 5052 are just some of the common alloys used in painted products. Painted aluminium has a wide range of mechanical properties and finishes include highly durable exterior coatings, specialised epoxies, polyesters, textured polyesters, fluorocarbons and metals as well as repair primers. Standard colours can be selected or custom colour matching to specification is possible. Most coatings can be used on one and both sides.
